EAST COAST RUN
The 50th ANNIVERSARY JUBILEE RUN

Organised by the
East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club.
The 50th East Coast Run on Sunday, 10th June 2018, over 800 Classic Vehicles went from East Park in Hull in convoy up the A165 through Skirlaugh & Bridlington to Sewerby. Superb.

DRIFFIELD STEAM FAIR

2 DVDs = 3hrs 45 mins . . . new release - Dec 2012

The annual Driffield Steam & Vintage Fair is now becoming one of the elite steam fairs in the UK. Its vast array of exhibits, including the many traction engines and rare steam cars to tractors, classic cars, is for all the family to enjoy.

DISC 1 : 2012

The Famous Cavalcade, from showground to town centre for a 2-hr display before heading back to the showground. A superb sight full of atmosphere and steam, which includes a small amount of footage from 2009 & 2011.

DISC 2 : 2012
We ride in a 1908 'Stanley' Steam Car, owned by Harold Bell, to the showground, then we look at all the cars, motorcycles, traction engines – big and small – as well as many tractors and the stalls. The main highlight is the parade of all the classic vehicles in the arena at various times, including the 'Big Haul', one traction engine hauling 5 others. Nostalgia at its very best.

YORKSHIRE CIRCULAR

2 DVDs = 3hrs . . . This double-DVD programme is a circular tour of 4 classic Yorkshire car rallies and two museums, whilst taking in the medieval city of York, the ancient town of Beverley, and a famous stately home along the way.

DISC 1 : 2010 105 mins
From the Humber Museum in Hull with 25 Humbers on display, we ride in a 1963 Humber Sceptre to the historic town of Beverley where we join an evening rally of some 200 classic cars in the Market Place, that includes scooters and bikes. A 1938 Sunbeam Talbot takes us to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Vintage Vehicle Weekend. There are classic cars at all stations and music at Levisham by Jive Express and Shadows Music plus Spectacular Steam Action and footplate shots

DISC 2 : 2010 120 mins
The annual Newby Hall Rally by the North Eastern Club for Pre-War Austins, where we arrive by Daimler to THE rally of the year - 2000 vehicles on show. In York, we look around Minster before going onto the Humber rally and view steam at the York Railway Museum. We end with a Classic road run back through Market Weighton and its steam fair as we ride a classic Humber back for a more detailed look at Marshall's Humber Museum in Hull.

SUTTON on HULL .. PORTRAIT OF A VILLAGE

. . . An exceptional value re-issue of this DVD ... featuring the original "Portrait of a Village" that was first released on VHS.

We see some of Sutton's history and consider how the village has changed over the course of many centuries to become the village and suburb of Hull that it is now. The railway, the church, various hostelries and local businesses, as well as some renowned and memorable characters, are looked at over the last two centuries, plus archive film from the 1950s and 60s.

Now on one 80min disc, featuring more recent film as of Dec 2009, new photos and old views not used before, including the railway.
